Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Competitive Intelligence Advisor to lead competitive efforts focused on Inside-the-Data-Center technologies in a full-time remote role, responsible for conducting market analysis, monitoring competitor activities, and providing strategic intelligence support across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis of ITDC solutions, identifying key market participants and strategies
- Monitor competitor activity, including product launches and partnerships, assessing their impact on Ciena's business
- Create customized competitive intelligence assets and deliver timely content for stakeholder use
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Relevant experience in competitive intelligence, product marketing, or related roles within the networking or data center industries
- Solid understanding of the networking equipment supply chain and customer requirements
- Experience creating executive-level briefings and sales enablement content
- Familiarity with optical interconnect ecosystems and emerging technologies
