Compliance Analyst (MD Licensed)

Job Summary

To support the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), the full-time Compliance Analyst (MD Licensed) will manage compliance oversight by reviewing complaints and incident reports related to human subjects research, conducting preliminary assessments, and ensuring adherence to federal regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for communications regarding complaints and incident reports, ensuring completeness and regulatory significance
• Draft correspondence, case summaries, and status reports while communicating with various stakeholders, including research institutions and government officials
• Track case status and manage records to support transparency and audit readiness, contributing to quality management and continuous improvement efforts

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, clinical research, health sciences, biomedical sciences, regulatory affairs, law, public administration, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in human subjects research protections and regulatory compliance
• Experience working with Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) and familiarity with federal regulations governing human subjects research (45 CFR 46)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity software and collaboration tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with high accuracy and attention to detail
