Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare technology company, the full-time remote Compliance and Security Director will manage the SOC2 compliance program, oversee the risk assessment processes, and engage with hospital customers on security and compliance inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the SOC2 compliance program and manage the annual audit and certification process
- Own the risk register, conduct annual risk assessments, and manage third-party/vendor risk
- Assess and document compliance controls across cloud infrastructure, partnering with Engineering for validation
Required qualifications
- Experience with SOC2, HIPAA, NIST, or ISO compliance standards
- Familiarity with hospital security operations and the ability to represent the company's security posture
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure security, preferably AWS
- Interest in AI governance and proactive engagement with AI regulation
- Strong familiarity with compliance automation or GRC platforms
