Compliance Associate

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Compliance Associate, the candidate will monitor and investigate activities related to Paxos issued stablecoins, conduct investigations into suspicious activities, and support information sharing with law enforcement and regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor activity across Paxos issued stablecoins using blockchain analytics tools and escalate higher risk activities as needed
• Conduct investigations into potential suspicious activity, synthesizing KYC and transactional information into clear case files
• Assist with quarterly forensic reviews of stablecoin transactions to identify trends and emerging risks, documenting findings for leadership

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in compliance, financial crime investigations, AML, or related risk functions
• Experience analyzing large volumes of transactional data and structuring investigations, including SAR/STR considerations
• Exposure to blockchain analytics tools or a strong interest in learning them quickly
• Experience with information sharing protocols and law enforcement requests is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in finance, criminal justice, law, data/analytics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
