Compliance Audit Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Compliance Audit Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage internal and external audits, maintain compliance policies and procedures, and build a control matrix to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance-related audits and act as the primary contact for auditors and examiners
• Maintain the library of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and approved
• Build and maintain a control matrix that maps regulatory requirements to specific controls and evidence

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in compliance, internal audit, external audit, or risk and controls in a fintech or banking environment
• Hands-on experience with regulatory exams and independent audits
• Experience writing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures
• Knowledge of AML/BSA, OFAC, UDAAP, and relevant regulatory expectations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large evidence sets effectively
