Compliance Director, Gaming
Job Summary
To support a growing compliance framework, the full-time remote Compliance Director, Gaming will manage compliance strategies for high-risk sectors including gaming and gambling, working closely with business teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary compliance partner to Sales, Partnerships, and Underwriting, providing timely guidance on prospects and deals
- Lead compliance strategy for gaming and gambling, including regulatory analysis and merchant eligibility standards
- Develop and maintain underwriting standards and procedures for high-risk sectors, ensuring efficient onboarding workflows
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within payments, fintech, or banking
- Hands-on experience with merchant underwriting and onboarding, including KYC/KYB frameworks
- Experience with high-risk merchant verticals such as gaming, gambling, and nutraceuticals
- Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them to business models
- Experience drafting policies and procedures that are practical for business teams
