Compliance Manager, Card

Job Summary

Owning compliance advisory for the Affirm Card program, the full-time remote Compliance Manager will manage card marketing, onboarding, and disputes while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end compliance for the Affirm Card program, including marketing, onboarding, and servicing
• Conduct root-cause analysis and lead remediation for compliance issues, prioritizing sustainable solutions
• Develop compliance training materials and serve as the compliance expert on new Card features

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a compliance advisory role within financial services, with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
• Deep knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act as applied to card products
• Proven ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Experience in advising and building credibility with Product, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying issues
