Compliance Manager, Investigations

Job Summary

Leading the monitoring and investigations program, the full-time remote Compliance Manager, Investigations will manage transaction monitoring, trade surveillance, and regulatory reporting while collaborating with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day transaction monitoring program for fiat and digital asset flows, including alert review and escalation
• Design and document monitoring rules based on risk assessments and emerging threats
• Detect and investigate potential market abuse, including wash trading and insider trading

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, focusing on investigations and transaction monitoring
• Demonstrated experience with blockchain analytics tools like Chainalysis or TRM Labs
• Strong knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC sanctions requirements
• Proven track record of writing high-quality SAR narratives and investigation reports
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify anomalous patterns
