Compliance Manager with Coding Certification

Job Summary

To support the Corporate Compliance team, the full-time remote Manager of Compliance Review will oversee the Evaluation and Management (E/M) compliance program, collaborating with various departments to ensure adherence to compliance regulations and providing education and training on compliance-related topics.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the E/M compliance program, including auditing and monitoring coding, documentation, and billing practices
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions based on E/M coding and billing trends and regulatory guidance
• Develop and conduct education and training activities related to compliance and ethics for all levels of the organization

Required qualifications:

• Professional level degree, preferably a BS, or equivalent work experience along with a professional certification
• Minimum of five years of experience in management and compliance-related areas, such as Regulatory Review and Billing
• Current professional coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS-P, or equivalent) is required
• Experience within the revenue cycle and in a hospital setting is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong analytical skills are required
