Compliance Oversight Specialist

Job Summary

Leading compliance-related projects and assessments, the full-time Compliance Oversight Specialist will provide guidance and mentoring to staff while ensuring the completion of internal and external corrective action plans in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and provide direction to department associates while overseeing compliance issues and resolutions
• Communicate compliance program importance to health plan staff and promote awareness of related policies and procedures
• Conduct independent evaluations of business processes and regulatory compliance, ensuring timely and quality reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 2 additional years of Compliance/Auditing experience in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of experience in Compliance/Auditing
• 3+ years of experience in State or Federal Managed Care Programs
• 1+ year of experience in reading, analyzing, and interpreting State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations
• Preferred certifications include Certified in HealthCare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
