Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

To support product innovation and compliance, the full-time salaried Compliance Specialist will evaluate scientific research, develop claim substantiation documentation, and review labeling and advertising for dietary supplements and personal care products in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Assess scientific literature to develop compliant claim language in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Prepare substantiation materials for internal and external stakeholders supporting product claims
• Evaluate product labels and marketing materials for compliance with FDA, FTC, and other regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biology or a relevant field is required
• 2-3+ years of experience evaluating clinical studies and scientific evidence is required
• 1-3 years of experience in the dietary supplement or related industry is preferred
• Familiarity with FDA and FTC labeling requirements is ideal
• Proficiency in Microsoft or Google Suite is required; familiarity with AI-assisted research tools is a plus
