Compliance Specialist Lead

Job Summary

To support the compliance program for new consumer lending, credit, and banking businesses, the full-time remote Compliance Specialist Lead will manage key components of the Compliance Management System, including compliance monitoring, governance reporting, and regulatory change management, while serving as a trusted advisor to initiative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compliance monitoring and testing activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Interpret lending and banking regulations, providing guidance on compliance risks and business operations
• Manage customer due diligence activities and governance reporting within the compliance framework

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in business, finance, compliance, law, or ethics, with at least 7 years in a regulated financial services environment
• OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field along with a minimum of 7 years of compliance or risk experience in regulated financial services
• Hands-on experience in consumer lending compliance, including interpreting regulations across various credit products
• Knowledge of Compliance Management Systems (CMS) and banking/lending operations
• Experience leading compliance monitoring activities and evaluating regulatory requirements
