Component Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the management and lifecycle of electronic components in radar systems and electronic warfare, the full-time Component Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure component selection, qualification, and documentation, with remote work options available.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the standard parts database and component management tools for qualified components
• Assist in creating and maintaining component specifications and documentation
• Research and provide technical information on electronic components to support engineering efforts

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
• 2-4 years of industry experience in concept and layout design phases with a focus on parts and materials
• Basic understanding of electronic components and their applications in RF, microwave, digital, and analog technologies
• Ability to research and interpret component specifications and industry standards
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
