Computational Mathematician
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Computational Mathematician, the successful candidate will develop and implement advanced mathematical, analytical, and machine learning solutions to address complex challenges for government and commercial clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply mathematical, statistical, and computational methods to solve complex business, scientific, engineering, and research problems
- Develop, test, validate, and refine mathematical and machine learning models to support analysis and prediction
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain innovative data-driven solutions and analytical tools
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields with 3-5 years of experience
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, R, SAS, or other statistical programming languages
- 3+ years of experience in data science, including mathematics, statistics, programming, and modeling
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning with diverse data sets
- Experience in building simulation engines and developing models within simulation environments
