Compute Engineer
Job Summary
To support the organization's infrastructure needs, the full-time remote Compute Engineer will manage server and virtualization environments, administer Microsoft cloud services, and lead infrastructure projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for the compute environment and design scalable server architectures
- Provision, configure, and maintain physical servers and virtual machines while monitoring health and performance
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Intune for identity and device management, ensuring compliance and security
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in systems/infrastructure/compute engineering or a similar IT operations role
- Expert-level experience administering Windows Server and solid knowledge of Linux
- Proven experience designing and managing virtualization platforms at scale
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD and Microsoft Intune
