Computer Science Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To provide quality instruction in computer science courses, the part-time remote Computer Science Adjunct Faculty will teach various subjects, maintain attendance and grading records, and create an inclusive learning environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Teaches courses in computer science discipline, including Analysis of Algorithms and AI Programming
• Maintains attendance records and submits grades within established timeframes
• Supports student issues related to course instruction and participates in departmental meetings and training

Required qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Software Engineering, AI, or a closely related area
• Commitment to collaborative and collegiate relationships
• Knowledge of higher education regulations, compliance, and accrediting agencies
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with faculty, staff, and students
