Owning computer-vision capabilities from initial problem definition through field deployment, the full-time remote Computer Vision Engineer will develop systems for vehicle detection, tracking, and OCR, while ensuring reliable performance on edge hardware in challenging roadside conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and optimize systems for vehicle detection, tracking, and attribute extraction
- Establish evaluation frameworks that link model performance to real-world outcomes
- Diagnose and resolve failures across the entire imaging pipeline, from camera configuration to model behavior
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in computer vision, data science, or research
- Proficient in Python, SQL, OpenCV, and PyTorch programming
- Strong understanding of fundamental computer vision techniques and GPU computing
- Experience with applied computer vision techniques on edge hardware
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Linux systems
