Configuration Management Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Configuration Management Specialist, the remote position will manage configuration and change management processes, maintain technical documentation, and ensure compliance with project standards while supporting a large Federal Government client.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, control, record, audit, and report the status of configuration items
- Develop and update technical processes, configuration standards, baselines, and procedures
- Coordinate configuration management activities across technical and project teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in an IT-related field
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in Configuration Management/Tech Editing
- Ability to obtain and maintain required VA background investigation/suitability
- Experience with configuration/change management and technical documentation in IT environments
- Expertise in project management within a project-oriented environment
