Configuration Management Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting a Federal client with a business and IT modernization project, the remote Configuration Management Specialist will manage version control processes, maintain configuration baselines, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage version control processes using the USDA-provided GitHub repository
- Maintain configuration baselines for all system components, including code and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with Binding Operational Directives and DHS cybersecurity requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in configuration management or IT systems administration on federal projects
- Proficiency with GitHub and version control best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
