Configuration Management Specialist
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time temporary Configuration Management Specialist will manage engineering documentation, support change management processes, and ensure configuration integrity across aerospace programs while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform release activities for engineering drawings, technical documentation, models, and work orders
- Support configuration control processes including Change Requests (CRs), Change Notices (CNs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Manage and maintain product data within Windchill and other PLM systems
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or related discipline with 3 years of experience
- Experience supporting Configuration Management or Product Lifecycle Management environments
- Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM or comparable platforms
- Understanding of engineering change management processes including CRs, CNs, and ECOs
- Proficiency using Creo View and familiarity with ASME drawing and drafting standards
