Configuration Management Specialist
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time temporary Configuration Management Specialist will control engineering documentation, support change management processes, and ensure configuration integrity across aerospace programs while working remotely for a duration of 12+ months.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform release activities for engineering drawings, technical documentation, models, and work orders
- Support configuration control processes including Change Requests (CRs), Change Notices (CNs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Manage and maintain product data within Windchill and other PLM systems
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Management, Business Administration, or related discipline and 3 years of related experience
- Experience supporting Configuration Management, Engineering Data Management, Document Control, or Product Lifecycle Management environments
- Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM or comparable PLM platforms
- Understanding of engineering change management processes including Change Requests (CRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Proficiency using Creo View and Microsoft Office Suite
