Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time temporary Configuration Management Specialist will manage engineering documentation, support change management processes, and ensure configuration integrity across aerospace programs while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct change analysis and technical reviews of engineering documentation changes, including Windchill change requests and problem reports
- Manage requirements and system engineering artifacts, including reviews in Jama and document formatting
- Support tool rollout through user testing, user support, and data cleanup for new configuration management tools
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline with 3 years of experience
- Experience in Configuration Management, Engineering Data Management, or Document Control environments
- Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM or similar platforms
- Understanding of engineering change management processes, including Change Requests and Change Notices
- Proficiency in using Creo View and knowledge of ASME drawing and drafting standards
