Job Summary
Leading configuration management activities for complex enterprise engineering systems, the full-time Configuration Manager will establish and administer Configuration Management Plans, oversee change control processes, and ensure compliance with audit-ready documentation while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and execute Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) for enterprise engineering systems and software applications
- Lead Change Control Boards (CCBs) by preparing, coordinating, and documenting proposed changes and approvals
- Enforce traceability across software or hardware life cycles and maintain audit readiness for complex enterprise applications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; 5-15 years of dedicated Configuration Management experience
- Experience within the Department of Energy, DoD branches, or heavily regulated commercial industries
- Familiarity with PTC products or other major PLM/CAD data management platforms
- Proven ability to lead Change Control Boards and establish Configuration Management Plans
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear and accurate configuration-management documentation
