Job Summary
Supporting firm-wide conflicts clearance and new business intake, the remote Conflicts Attorney NJ, NY, DE, MD, TX, FL, DC will manage conflict reports, identify potential conflicts of interest, and collaborate with attorneys to develop resolution strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze conflict reports related to new clients, matters, legal hires, and business initiatives
- Independently identify potential conflicts of interest and determine appropriate resolution strategies
- Communicate potential conflicts clearly to attorneys and assist with developing appropriate resolutions
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
- Active license to practice law in NJ, NY, DE, MD, TX, FL, or Washington, D.C
- 3+ years of experience in law firm conflicts, new business intake, or a closely related function preferred
- Strong understanding of legal ethics and professional responsibility rules
- Experience with automated conflicts checking and/or workflow systems
