Job Summary

Identifying potential conflicts of interest for new business and hires, the full-time remote Conflicts Researcher will conduct conflict searches, prepare reports, and perform factual research using various resources.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conflict of interest searches and prepare concise reports while filtering data appropriately
• Conduct factual research to identify potential conflicts and verify the accuracy of relevant data
• Provide support and respond to inquiries regarding conflict checks and client/matter status

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1-2 years of post-secondary education; 2-4 years of legal assistant or conflicts experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications
• Strong Internet research skills and experience with legal and financial research systems
• Familiarity with BVD/Orbis, Intapp Open, and Elite 3E is preferred
• Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information and communicate effectively with various staff levels
