Connecticut Licensed Billing Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Yale Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office, the full-time remote Connecticut Licensed Billing Compliance Analyst will serve as the primary liaison with billing offices, ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records related to clinical trial billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments for clinical trials and evaluate medical documentation for accurate billing compliance
• Collaborate with clinical research staff and the Office of Sponsored Projects to ensure proper documentation alignment and billing practices
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and support the ongoing implementation of the Research Billing Compliance Program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health or Business Administration or a related field
• Three years of experience in clinical research charge review and billing or equivalent education and experience
• Advanced knowledge of clinical trial regulatory documents, including protocols and Medicare Coverage Analysis
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with clinical trial systems and protocol tracking
