Construction Claims Director
Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of designated construction clients, the full-time Regional Construction Claims Director will provide claim advocacy and consulting on professional liability claims, serve as a technical resource, and support new business opportunities in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage claims for construction clients and provide senior-level advocacy on critical claims
- Act as a technical resource for insurance coverage specifications and participate in renewal processes
- Support the development and delivery of best practices related to contract provisions and risk allocation
Required qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of construction general liability and professional liability coverage/claims
- Familiarity with builder's risk and subcontractor default insurance is a plus
- Solid understanding of construction-specific contractual risk allocation
- Insurance brokerage experience is advantageous
