Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Construction Estimator for a direct hire opportunity in Wilmington, North Carolina, the full-time position will prepare accurate estimates, develop scopes of work, and analyze bids for commercial and federal construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals
- Develop scopes of work and solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing
- Analyze bids and identify scope gaps, risks, and exclusions
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial and/or federal construction estimating experience required
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with RSMeans and/or e4Clicks preferred
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and bid requirements
- Experience performing detailed takeoffs
