Construction Lending Director
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced construction lending professional, the full-time remote Construction Lending Director will build and grow the national residential transition lending channel, serving as a resource for Account Executives to identify, structure, and close construction and fix-and-flip opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the scenario and deal desk for construction and fix-and-flip opportunities, advising on structure and eligibility
- Partner with Account Executives on client meetings and presentations, helping identify construction opportunities
- Coordinate between sales and operations teams as loans move from submission to funding, ensuring issues are resolved early
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential transition lending, including ground-up construction and fix-and-flip lending
- Working knowledge of RTL underwriting processes and criteria
- Proven track record of originating or supporting production through broker and correspondent relationships
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with sales, credit, and operations teams
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
