Consulting Actuary

Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of client relationships, the full-time Consulting Actuary will manage client interactions, oversee actuarial analyses rooted in machine learning, and translate complex modeling outputs into actionable insights, all within a fully remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing multiple projects and addressing ad hoc inquiries
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to develop and execute actuarial analyses that align with client business problems
• Synthesize analytical results into clear narratives and presentations for clients, facilitating informed decision-making

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in an actuarial role with direct client-facing responsibility
• Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or another quantitative field
• Progress in actuarial exams with a focus on P&C, having passed at least Exam 5 or an equivalent reserving exam
• Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships, including setting expectations and delivering results
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create effective client presentations and visuals
