Job Summary
As a full-time Consulting Electrical Engineer working remotely, the successful candidate will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for solving complex engineering challenges, designing electrical circuits for batteries and chargers, and integrating battery monitoring systems in the aerospace, defense, and medical industries.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical circuits for batteries, chargers, and rechargeable battery systems
- Create detailed electrical schematics, specifications, and technical documentation
- Perform system analysis related to electrical performance, thermal management, and reliability
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in electrical design, power systems, or defense-related products
- Strong knowledge of lithium-ion and similar battery technologies
- Experience with battery systems, power electronics, and low-EMI circuit design
- Proficiency with electrical design software tools
