Container Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the reliability and efficiency of a multi-tenant container platform, the full-time remote Container Engineer will design and implement automation, manage operational readiness, and improve observability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for the container platform, ensuring operational readiness for new capabilities
- Build and maintain platform automation, controllers, and internal tooling, writing production code and implementing security automation
- Evaluate and evolve the platform's tooling ecosystem, contributing to failure-mode analysis and resilience design for container workloads
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, container/Kubernetes operations, SRE, or production infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of the container and orchestration landscape, particularly Kubernetes and related CNCF technologies
- Proficiency in writing production code, preferably in Go or a comparable systems language
- Experience with large-scale multi-tenant systems and understanding of isolation mechanisms
- Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform
