Seeking a part-time contractor, the Content Writer - Native American Expert will collaborate with the Editor and Program Manager to create accurate, high-quality contextual content focused on Native American genealogy while managing deadlines and ensuring alignment with company standards in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Editor and Program Manager to develop and revise writing assignments
• Conduct in-depth historical research to support writing projects
• Write various formats of content, including record descriptions and personalized stories

Required qualifications:

• Experience with Native American genealogy research and writing
• Degree in history, English, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional writing experience
• Background in studies related to Native American history or other cultural studies
• Strong internet and research skills
