Continuous Improvement Manager
Job Summary
Driving operational excellence initiatives, the full-time Continuous Improvement Manager will focus on hands-on process improvements in assembly, testing, and electro-mechanical production areas while ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and ITAR standards in a home-based position.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production floor performance
- Identify and eliminate waste using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and VSM
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve efficiency and quality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in defense, aerospace, or battery manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Hands-on Lean/Six Sigma experience with a Gemba mindset
- Experience working directly on the production floor in a project environment
