Contract Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the contract Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks including monthly close processes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly close through reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
• Manage accounts receivable by following up on invoices, applying cash, and monitoring aging reports
• Handle accounts payable tasks including vendor bills, approvals, and payment runs

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience with month-end closes, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Experience in a SaaS or high-growth company environment
• Proficiency with accounting and billing tools such as QuickBooks, Stripe, and Bill.com
• Ability to work remotely and independently
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
