Contract Geologist
Job Summary
Acting as a geoscience subject matter expert, the contract-based Consulting Geologist will focus on regional structural and sequence stratigraphic interpretation projects in the Anadarko Basin, integrating seismic and well data while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate geological interpretations with Well Performance Data for analytics purposes
- Serve as a stakeholder for integrated geological and geophysical projects, liaising with team leads
- Support TGS personnel and adhere to safety and ethics policies while taking responsibility for personal safety
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Geophysics required; Master's or PhD preferred
- Extensive experience in the Anadarko Basin and exploration & development geoscience workflows
- Subject Matter Expert in geological specialisms such as sequence stratigraphy or structural geology
- Experience with subsurface interpretation software, preferably Kingdom
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of geological interpretation principles
