Contract Manager, Energy & Midstream

Job Summary

Supporting the commercial team of a publicly traded energy company, the part-time Contract Manager, Energy & Midstream will manage the development, negotiation, execution, and administration of complex commercial agreements in a remote capacity, with occasional meetings in Houston, TX, or Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of complex commercial agreements related to energy infrastructure and midstream operations
• Translate commercial terms from negotiations into actionable documentation, including term summaries and drafting instructions
• Maintain comprehensive contract trackers and provide regular status updates to commercial leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in commercial contract administration, with at least 3 years in the midstream or energy sector
• Direct experience with midstream commercial agreements, including gas gathering and transportation contracts
• Strong understanding of commercial terms commonly found in midstream agreements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document comparison tools such as Litera Compare
