Contract Reimbursement Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Contract Reimbursement Analyst will review patient accounts for accurate contractual reimbursement, generate system reports, and maintain expertise on hospital contracts while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review individual patient accounts to ensure accurate contractual reimbursement and appeal improper payments
• Generate and monitor system reports to track accounts and identify operational issues related to the revenue cycle
• Maintain the Contract Management System, ensuring data integrity and producing high-level summaries for executive review

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and significant relevant work experience in healthcare
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in hospital billing or third-party claims processing
• Experience with third-party payor contract language and payment methodologies
• Epic experience preferred
