Contracting Manager

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end recruitment and negotiation of provider contracts, the full-time Contracting Manager will build and optimize provider networks while overseeing post-contract intake and ensuring compliance with corporate and state guidelines in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and negotiation of contracts for PCP, specialists, and ancillary providers, ensuring alignment with corporate and health plan guidelines
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage new contracts and amendments, ensuring accurate and timely loading of all agreements
• Develop and monitor network reporting and performance metrics, facilitating meetings with health plans and corporate teams to discuss provider performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in contracting, contract analysis, or provider relations, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of managed care and health programs
• Proven negotiation skills with a solid understanding of reimbursement models
• Experience in contract management, compliance, and drafting terms
