Contracts Counsel, State Licensed

Job Summary

Providing practical legal support, the full-time remote Counsel, Contracts will advise on contracts and regulatory compliance, draft and negotiate agreements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice and support for assigned products and business lines, balancing legal risk with business objectives
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, escalating complex matters to senior counsel as necessary
• Interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations to business processes, collaborating with product and operations teams to ensure compliance

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 4-6 years of experience practicing law, preferably in-house or in law firms supporting technology, media, or real estate clients
• Experience advising on regulatory, commercial, or product counseling matters
• Proven ability to manage a moderate portfolio of legal matters with limited supervision
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
