Contracts Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly self-motivated Contracts Manager/Senior Contracts Manager to join the Legal team remotely, this role will negotiate and manage the company's agreements end to end, collaborating with various functions to ensure efficient contract processing and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Draft, redline, and negotiate various agreements including CDAs, consulting agreements, and clinical trial agreements directly with counterparties
• Apply judgment in negotiations, focusing on critical terms while efficiently resolving lower-stakes points and escalating when necessary
• Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring timely signatures, maintaining the contract repository, and administering the contract management system

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience negotiating and managing contracts in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Direct experience negotiating standard biotech agreements with counterparties
• Proven ability to close agreements efficiently while protecting key terms
• Experience administering a contract lifecycle management system
• Active use of AI tools in work processes and a willingness to explore further applications
