Contracts Manager

Job Summary

As Scribe's first Contracts Manager, the full-time remote position will manage end-to-end contracting processes across sales, procurement, partnerships, and marketing, negotiating critical terms with global enterprises while building and scaling contracting systems and automations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full contracting queue from intake to signature, ensuring timely deal closures
• Negotiate MSAs, DPAs, AI Addenda, and order forms directly with customer counsel and other stakeholders
• Create playbooks and structured contracting systems to enhance efficiency and compliance post-signature

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience negotiating SaaS sell-side and vendor agreements at a growing SaaS/tech company
• Fluency in data protection and security frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism while negotiating with counterparties
• Experience making independent risk assessments and collaborating with sales teams
• Proficiency in AI tools, Salesforce, and a focus on automation and process improvement
