Contributing Audience Editor

Job Summary

Seeking a creative and strategic Contributing Audience Editor for a part-time, fully remote contract role, who will own and execute the social and newsletter strategy for @sorority, focusing on audience growth and engagement while developing content and managing editorial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the social and newsletter strategy for @sorority, emphasizing audience growth and engagement
• Manage the @sorority editorial calendar, collaborating with in-house content creators to produce timely and relevant content
• Monitor social and newsletter performance, analyze audience behavior, and provide actionable recommendations for content and growth

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in social media, audience development, or editorial roles, preferably with Gen Z or college-focused audiences
• Strong understanding of Greek life and college culture, with personal or professional experience in this area being a plus
• Proficiency across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with knowledge of audience engagement and content discovery
• Experience in newsletter strategy, including analytics for subscriber growth and retention
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to connect with a Gen Z audience in a smart and engaging voice
