Job Summary

Owning the accounting operations end-to-end, the full-time remote Controller will manage month-end close, accounts receivable and payable, payroll processing, and financial reporting while ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and manage the month-end close calendar
• Oversee accounts receivable by invoicing customers, managing payments, and maintaining healthy AR aging
• Administer payroll processing, corporate card activity, and produce monthly financial reports for leadership and external stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficient in NetSuite with hands-on experience managing the system
• Demonstrated ability to own the month-end close process and reconcile financial statements
• Experience in improving financial processes and documenting changes effectively
• Strong written communication skills to explain financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
