Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Controller will manage the integrity of financial records, oversee accounting and treasury operations, and enhance financial systems while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring accurate recording and classification of transactions
• Oversee treasury and payment operations, maintaining financial integrity throughout the lifecycle of program funds
• Implement process improvements and automation in financial systems to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles such as Controller or Assistant Controller
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, general ledger, revenue accounting, and financial controls
• Experience preparing for audits and working directly with auditors
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for financial analysis and reconciliations
• Familiarity with modern accounting systems; experience with tools like Rillet and Ramp is a plus
