Controller
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-oriented, the full-time Controller will manage the accounting function, including monthly close, US GAAP financials, and audits, while working remotely or from the Philadelphia office.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and consolidation across six entities, ensuring a reliable close in 10 working days or fewer
- Lead technical accounting analysis and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects, driving finance-related initiatives to completion
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or a complex, multi-entity business
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and principal versus agent judgments
- Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency closes and leading external audits
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and a focus on process automation
