Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Controller to manage the accounting function in a full-time capacity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, leading audits, and enhancing internal controls, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Miami office.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and US GAAP consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring timely and reliable financial reporting
• Lead technical accounting analysis and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and other accounting principles
• Develop and manage the international accounting team, setting performance expectations and fostering a high-performance culture

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment with public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and related accounting standards
• Proven experience with multi-currency accounting and leading external audits
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, and a focus on process improvement through automation
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams and managing internal controls
