Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Controller to manage the accounting function in a full-time remote role, responsible for overseeing monthly close processes, ensuring US GAAP compliance, and leading audits across multiple entities while driving process improvements and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and US GAAP consolidation across six entities, ensuring a reliable close in 10 working days or fewer
• Lead technical accounting analysis and manage statutory accounts and tax compliance with external advisers
• Improve accounting processes, systems, and automation across NetSuite to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of strong hands-on accounting experience, ideally including public accounting or complex multi-entity business
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and principal versus agent judgements
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency close and leading external audits
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
• Hands-on ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite, focusing on process improvement through automation
