Controller with CPA License

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day accounting and tax operations, the full-time Controller with CPA License will manage financial reporting across multiple entities, oversee revenue and cost accounting, and ensure robust internal controls in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and manage the monthly close calendar, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across four countries
• Oversee accounting for diverse revenue streams and develop cost allocation methodologies to analyze profitability
• Lead and mentor a growing accounting team while establishing organizational structure and processes to support scalability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
• Strong GAAP knowledge, particularly in revenue recognition and COGS matching across multiple revenue streams
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or comparable ERP systems, with a preference for experience in technology or subscription-based businesses
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling accounting teams, including hiring and developing staff
