Core Systems Developer
Job Summary
The full-time remote Core Systems Developer will maintain the performance and integrity of the credit union's central financial processing system, develop core programs for critical functions, and support system upgrades and troubleshooting efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain the core financial processing system and mortgage servicing system
- Conduct code reviews, manage backups, and troubleshoot client-side applications to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with various teams to analyze complex issues and develop strategies for system enhancements and automation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with Core application maintenance, specifically with the Symitar application and PowerOn programming
- 2+ years of experience in programming databases, including data modeling and query optimizations
- 2+ years of financial services experience
- Familiarity with PowerShell, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML preferred
